2012 Young Artists Music Competition:

Awards

1. Cash awards are:

• First Place $2,000 + $5,000 5-year annuity
  ($2,000 to be paid on March 25, 2012, and $1,000 to be
  paid each August from 2013 through 2017)
• Second Place $1,500
• Third Place $1,000
  

2. Inability to perform with the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra on March 25, 2012, will result in the forfeit of the First Place Award and money. Second and Third Place winners will move up in standing and no Third Place Award will be given that year.
3. No tie will be allowed for first place. Ties for Second and Third Place will be strongly discouraged. In case of a tie for Second Place, second and third place cash awards will be split equally between the Second Place winners, and no Third Place award will be made. In case of a tie for Third Place, the third-place cash award will be split equally between the winners.
